The longer you stay single and feel lonely, the easier it is to feel like there’s something wrong with you. A number of talking and dating stages that failed to turn into something more, people leaving you feeling like you weren’t worth the effort, or simply because they found someone better. It’s so easy to just feel like you’re not meant to be with anyone. To over-analyze every situation to see what you could have done to possibly save what you had, where in the end you just blame yourself. When you put yourself out there with everything you’ve got when an opportunity arrives, just to see it go to waste. It’s just so exhausting.

To get a better idea on how this picture would feel try this: Okay focus on these words, and whatever you do don’t let your eyes wander past the center of this page. Now imagine just beyond your peripheral vision, maybe behind you, maybe to the side of you, but right where you can’t see it. Imagine someone, sitting next to you, hugging you, holding you’re hand. Nothing is being played but a sweet soft melody in the background, and the conversation is so quiet in fact you can only hear each others heartbeat. Now imagine that someone is hugging by your side, holding for dear life and they are softly whispering in your ear, i love you and your touch makes me weak. Remember you don’t exactly see them, you just know they are there. They then proceed to move their hands to yours and they give u a kiss on the neck, and they slowly move to your lips. You then pick them up, wrap their legs around your waist and lay them down on the bed and right at this moment, that’s when you feel the sudden passion of love flowing through your body, those sudden goosebumps. That’s when the world doesn’t mean anything and nothing matters but you and them. But don’t look yet, keep your eyes here. Now take a deep breath. Go ahead, take an even deeper one. Only this time as you exhale try to imagine the person you would want to share those things with. Imagine the one you would want to hold. How amazing it would feel to have someone want you like that, but notice how you never had to see the person’s physical attributes to feel the passion. That’s because beauty doesn’t matter. When you love someone you look beyond all appearances. The heart is what’s important. Never go for looks and or appearance, eventually it all fades away, the heart is what keeps the love flowing in the end <3

Sometimes, you need someone there for you that cares. Someone who hasn’t given up hope on you, when you’ve already given up hope on yourself. Someone who actually leads you through, instead of someone just trying to guide you only with words, but with actions also. Someone who sits along side with you, when you need to take a moment to rest, instead of someone always pushing you to go forward when you absolutely don’t have the mentality to do so. Someone who’s willing to look back, and take a few steps in reverse, just to help you catch up to where you want or need to be. I need someone like this in my life.
